How to do the Kas Glute Bridge
Step by step
- Set your upper back on a bench and your feet flat on the floor, hips low.
- Lift your hips to just below a full lockout so the glutes stay under tension.
- Do short, controlled reps near the top without fully touching the floor.
- Squeeze the glutes on every rep, keeping constant tension.
- Keep the reps small and smooth rather than dropping all the way down.
The thing people get wrong
This is a short-range, constant-tension move: do not lock all the way out or rest at the bottom. Keep the glutes working the whole set.
Coaching cue
Keep your chin tucked and ribs down so the movement stays in your hips.
